Antique Jerome Thibouville Lamy Albert System Clarinet

Here's a rare c.1880's (or earlier!) vintage Albert system clarinet by Jerome Thibouvlle Lamy of France. It is made of fine grained grenadilla wood with solid nickel alloy key-work, posts and rings, with a bore of .585". It is in great condition for age, with no cracks or repairs! Bell is a later addition, as it came to me as 3 pieces. The instrument is marked A, but seems to be a very HP A, as it plays at almost Bb at 440 - a slightly shorter barrel would put you there!
It has been disassembled, soaked in oil, swedged and countersunk, body, keys and posts polished or buffed, new white Roo leather pads and corks installed. Big, warm, focused tone and decent intonation for age: Overall, I am really pleased with this instrument! Comes with vintage case in worn but solid condition, needs one latch repair.

Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted within 5 days and I will issue refund (minus 10% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange.
