Antique Nach Meyer C LP Wooden 8 Key Flute

Here's a beautiful c.1900 vintage 8 key open hole wooden C LP flute labeled 'Nach Meyer' of Germany. It has a grenadilla wood body with nickel alloy keys and a brass tuning slide and is in great condition for age. Nach Meyer means 'after the design by Meyer' and refers to the keying: its rare to find one in this good condition! There is one surface hairline on the lower body but otherwise no cracks or crack repairs.
It has been disassembled, oiled, body, posts and keys buffed, all new corks installed, and all new white Roo leather pads, reassembled and fully adjusted. Sweet, full tone, unusually good intonation for age, with good blowhole and comfortable key-work. I am very happy with this instrument! Comes with original case in need of TLC but good for shipping and collectability.
