Vintage Cabart Bb Boehm System Clarinet

A 1950's vintage pro Bb Boehm system clarinet made by Cabart of Paris: better known for their fine oboes, Cabart also made some excellent clarinets! It is fine grained grenadilla wood with solid nickel alloy keys, a large bore of .590" and is in great vintage condition, with sharp tenons/chimneys and snug key-work. Its been disassembled, soaked in oil, swedged and countersunk (to tighten the mechanism) body and keys buffed, all new Pisoni tan leather pads and cork installed, and reassembled and adjusted for optimal play-ability. Warm, full tone, great intonation and comfortable key-work ! This is the second Cabart I've had the chance to restore & I am really pleased with the condition and play-ability of this clarinet! Comes with vintage case (probably original) in great condition.

All shipping is by USPS priority with delivery confirmation or UPS ground with tracking (depending on the weight of the item). I can generally ship a clarinet and case for $14-25 - I try not to pad shipping. Most returns accepted within 5 days and will issue refund (minus 20% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange. Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis.
