Vintage Boosey & Hawkes 2-20 Bb Boehm Clarinet

Here's a nice example of one of my favorite budget large bore clarinets - a 1970's '2-20 Model' Bb Boehm system clarinet by Boosey & Hawkes of Great Britain. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel plated keys, posts and rings, with a large bore of .590". This well built, modestly priced instrument has key work designed by Reginald Kell and a huge Jazz tone! All pieces are original, no cracks or repairs. Its been disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, new white Roo leather pads and key/tenon corks installed. Its in great shape for its years and plays very well! Comes with original case in solid condition.

All shipping is by Fedex or USPS priority with tracking (depending on the weight of the item). I can generally ship a clarinet and case for $20-30 - I try not to pad shipping. Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted within 5 days and I will issue refund (minus 10% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange. Please enquire terms of return before purchase!
