Vintage Couesnon C LP Saxonette Albert System Clarinet

Here's a super rare 1920's vintage C LP Albert system 'saxonette' by Couesnon of Paris - the only one I've ever had my hands on in 18 years of horn repair! Basically a C Albert system clarinet with a metal bell and barrel. The body is grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys and a bore of .565". It is in great condition, with good tenons and chimneys, no cracks or repairs. The clarinet has been disassembled, soaked in oil, swedged and countersunk, body, keys and posts buffed, new white Roo leather pads and corks installed. Bright, open Albert sound - LOUD! - decent intonation with comfortable key-work. These are great Trad Jazz horns! Comes with period case in solid condition and an unmarked mpc that came with the horn. Below is a video clip of early NOLA musician Alphonse Picou playing the same type of clarinet! Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted within 5 days and I will issue refund (minus 10% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange.
