Vintage Holton 233 Eb Alto Saxophone

A rare c. 1963 vintage model '233' alto saxophone made by Holton of the USA. It is lacquered brass and is in decent condition for its age, with no significant dents or repairs - just a couple small dings - nothing that materially impacts looks or playability. Lacquer is about 80%, with straight tone holes.
Its been disassembled, cleaned, swedged and countersunk (to tighten the mechanism) posts aligned, tone holes leveled, rods trued, all tan leather pads (with domed metal resos) installed, and key corks/felts replaced, reassembled and adjusted for optimal play-ability. The horn is a good player, with a smoky, focused tone, good intonation, and comfortable key work: would be good for Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues... I'm very pleased with the condition and play-ability of this saxophone! Comes with vintage case in clean, solid condition.
