Vintage Holton Bb LP Albert System Clarinet

Here's a very nice 1920's Albert system clarinet in Bb LP, marked "Beaufort Frank Holton & Co". It's made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a large bore of .590". All pieces are in good shape, with no significant repairs. This would be a great horn for playing Trad Jazz, Greek/Turkish folk music, or Klezmer!
It was just overhauled: disassembled, oiled, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, white leather pads and corks installed. This rare clarinet is in good shape for its years and plays with a big, resonant tone and decent intonation. Its also lighter than usual to hold, for some reason. Comes with vintage (possibly original) case in clean, solid condition.

All shipping is by Fedex or USPS priority with tracking (depending on the weight of the item). I can generally ship a clarinet and case for $20-30 - I try not to pad shipping. Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted within 5 days and I will issue refund (minus 10% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange. Please enquire terms of return before purchase!
