Vintage Leblanc Custom Bb Boehm Clarinet

A rare late 1940's/ early 1950's vintage Bb Boehm system custom ordered clarinet made by G. Leblanc of Paris. It is grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, a bore of .580" and is in great vintage condition, with good chimneys and key-work. This has 7 rings, a Low F resonance key, and a fascinating alternate throat Bb mechanism, which produces an excellent alternative to the usually somewhat stuffy note! Its clearly a custom instrument, and only the 3rd one I've seen in over a decade of restoration. Its been disassembled, soaked in oil, swedged and countersunk (to tighten the mechanism) body and keys buffed, all new Pisoni tan leather pads and key/tenon cork installed, and reassembled and adjusted for optimal play-ability. Warm, focused tone, good intonation, comfortable keywork ! I'm impressed with the condition and play-ability of this clarinet! Comes with modern professional case in great condition.

I can generally ship a clarinet and case for $14-25 - I try not to pad shipping. Most returns accepted within 5 days and will issue refund (minus 20% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange. Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis.
