Vintage Leblanc Normandy Special Bb Boehm Clarinet

Here's a lovely c.1955 vintage 'Normandy Special' model Bb Boehm system clarinet by Leblanc of Paris. It is made of fine grenadilla wood with solid nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, synthetic bell, and a large bore of .585". All pieces are original, no cracks or repairs. This is supposedly the 'step-down' from Leblanc's pro models, but it would be hard to tell, especially on the earlier instruments. The synthetic bell reduces both weight and the risk of cracking.
Its been disassembled, soaked in oil, swedged and countersunk, body, keys and posts buffed, new white Roo leather pads and key'tenon corks installed. This well made clarinet is in great shape for its age and has a warm, open tone with good intonation and comfortable ergonomics. Comes with original case in solid condition.

All shipping is by Fedex or USPS priority with tracking (depending on the weight of the item). I can generally ship a clarinet and case for $20-30 - I try not to pad shipping. Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted within 5 days and I will issue refund (minus 10% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange. Please enquire terms of return before purchase!
