Vintage Stubbins Noblet Bb Boehm Clarinet

Here's a rare and unusual 1960's vintage 'Stubbins model' Noblet Bb Boehm system clarinet by G. Leblanc of France. Its made of fine grained grenadilla wood with nickel plated key-work and a large bore of .585". The Stubbins mechanism on the back of the upper body includes an extra tone hole that allows for a much superior throat Bb, but is simpler in design and adjustment than others I've seen!
It is in great, lightly used condition, with good tenons and chimneys, no cracks or repairs. It has been disassembled, soaked in oil, swedged and countersunk, body, keys and posts buffed, new key/tenon corks and white Roo leather pads installed. Warm, focused tone with good ergos and intonation. I am really impressed with this instrument! Comes with vintage Leblanc case (probably original) in solid, clean condition.
