Vintage V. Kohlert Bb LP Advanced Albert Clarinet

Here's a lovely c.1930's advanced Albert system clarinet in Bb LP, by V. Kohlert of Czechoslovakia. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a big bore of .585". All pieces are in great shape with no repairs, and it has all the bells and whistles, with 6 rings, articulated C#, 4 trills, RH pinky Ab/Eb. Great instrument for Jazz, various ethnic folk musics, or period classical!
It was just overhauled: disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, white leather pads and corks installed. This rare clarinet is in good shape for its years and plays with a big, open tone and good intonation. Comes with very cool case in clean, solid condition, and even has the key!

All shipping is by Fedex or USPS priority with tracking (depending on the weight of the item). I can generally ship a clarinet and case for $20-30 - I try not to pad shipping. Antique/vintage instrument refunds issued on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted within 5 days and I will issue refund (minus 10% for restock and cleaning), store credit or an exchange. Please enquire terms of return before purchase!
